General FAQ
-
Will I receive CE hours?
Yes. You will receive CE credit. The amount of CE will vary with the content and length of each training.
-
I have questions about this training, who do I contact?
Please contact us by email at [email protected].
-
Can I share this information with any of my co-workers?
No, the trainings provided are specifically for pharmacists in charge only. As such, please do not share the links to any of the PIC training courses with anyone.
-
Do I need to download my certificate?
Yes. You may be randomly selected for a CE audit and will need to upload your certificate into the gateway. It is your responsibility to keep up with your certificate.
-
How long will I have access to the course?
You will only have access to any course until December 31 of the year in which the training is launched. On January 1 of each year, an updated version will become available.
-
When will my certificate expire?
Your certificate will expire Dec. 31 of each year. EX: If you took the training in 2023 and received a certificate, your certificate will be good for 2023 CE requirements only. Attestation and possible auditing of 2023 CE would be done during the 2024 renewal period.
-
Why do I only see one course?
We are developing courses as the need arises. You will be notified if any new training becomes available.
-
What kind of CE will this be?
This will depend on whether the content is general, or opioid/substance abuse related.
-
When can I use the CE I received?
The CE you obtained from taking the training can only be counted for the year that you took the course. For example, if you completed the training in 2023, you would not attest that you completed it until your 2024 renewal. At that time, if you are audited you will produce documentation of CE completed between January 1, 2023-December 31, 2023.
